CLASSICAL INDIAN STYLING

The ARROW is an Indian Chief trike kit designed to match Indian Motorcycle’s classical styling cues. The CSC rear lines match the Indian front fender and even the industry first removable fender skirts make changing a tire stylish. The ARROW trike body incorporates the motorcycle’s styling at every corner, from the gas tank bezel to the tail lights. Even our options, such as the fender bras and ground effects, were crafted with the classical Indian Motorcycle in mind. CHASSIS

Escapade Trailer is the only manufacturer that combines the body and frame of the trailer to make a single unit. Our steel T-Chassis is integrated into the trailer body which lowers the trailer’s center of gravity and ensures stable performance in all riding situations. This gives the trailer a smooth, flat surface over which air can travel unobstructed and also creates longitudinal and latitudinal, greatly enhancing the cargo deck’s strength.

SUSPENSION

The Escapade Trailer’s legendary handling is the product of a brilliantly engineered suspension system. Our trailers incorporate an air shock system with an independent trailing swing arm design. The shocks have been designed for us by the industry leader - Progressive Suspension, Inc. The special damping cartridge gives superior damping even when the trailer is towed empty, meaning no bounce under every condition. These Progressive air shocks are used in all models except the Eclipse which uses a Progressive coil over spring shock.

TRACKING

Escapade Trailer’s superb tracking is due in part to its United States Department of Transportation approved 12-inch wheel and 4.80 x 12” tubeless tire. The larger than average wheels and tires have a more positive gyroscopic effect when turning at highway speeds. The increased width has more tread to road surface contact and grips the road to eliminate the swaying tendencies of thinner tires. And because it is a standard automotive size, it is easily replaced even in those out-of-way rural areas. (Standard equipment is painted white wheel. Chrome wheels are available as an option)

BODY AND FINISH

Our bodies are hand made and custom finished at our factory. Our in-house fiberglass and paint departments insure the highest degree of quality control and the color match capability is unsurpassed. Bodies are painted using top of the line urethane paints and clears, with a 2-3 part paint process and 3 clear coats. For GL1800 colors, we use the same paints and clears supplied to Honda. Bodies are wet sanded and then polished in a two-step process to achieve an amazing paint finish.

LIGHTING

Greater visibility means greater safety. Escapade Trailer exceeds the trailer light standards set by the United States Department of Transportation. All lighting is connected to the bike’s power supply with a substantial wiring harness that is firmly secured inside the trailer. There is no external wiring except at the tongue connection. For even more visibility, request the spoiler with L.E.D. brake light.

STORAGE CAPACITY

Spaciousness that can’t be beat. With an Escapade you will get over 25 cu. Ft of storage space, including an integrated spare tire compartment and utility storage areas that are designed to maintain a flat surface on the trailer deck (LE, SE and Elite models).

The VIPER is a Honda Goldwing Trike that was designed for the current Honda Goldwing GL1800. Designed to capture Honda’s new styling changes to incorporate a perfect match of the LED trike tail lights to the Goldwing tour box lights accented with a trunk door spoiler light as a standard feature. The trunk door has been made wider for easier access and opens to the one of the largest trunk storage areas in the industry at 8 cubic feet.

CSC INDY TRIKE

CSC introduces its latest trike conversion for the Kawasaki Vulcan 900 bike, the CSC INDY. This Kawasaki Vulcan trike by CSC will meet the demands of those looking for a lower entry price in purchasing a trike and will also provide a less intimidating trike without giving up exceptional handling, style and performance. The INDY trike can ride with the Big Boys and still provide the comfort and handling you would expect from the bigger trikes. The INDY is the only Kawasaki 900 trike in the market that offers an optional electric reverse and an optional tour box for the extra storage benefits.

ELECTRICAL BELT DRIVE REVERSE

  • Trailer wiring harness: Equipped with the female connector for the Escapade line of trailers. Male connector may be purchased separately through California Sidecar Parts & Service Department.
  • Emergency release cable: Located just above the battery box on the left side of the trike, this cable releases the trike body trunk door in case of primary latch malfunction.
  • Paint care: The care of the paint is critical for the first 90 days of the trike body. Do not cover the trike body and / or wax the trike body for the first 90 days. The paint is however, suitable for pin striping and / or painting of murals at the time the trike body leaves the factory.

The CUSTOM is a crossover model which blends the best features of the Harley Davidson Softail™ with a custom chopper, all rolled into a street rod styled trike. Born out of a desire to create a dramatically different trike, this innovative design is a cruiser motorcyclist’s dream, appealing to those who want to boldly step out and express their individuality. Originally we envisioned the CUSTOM as a complete turnkey trike kit, optioned out with the very best after market accessories available in the industry today. Named the CUSTOM ST, we believe this top of the line configuration will be the model of choice for most consumers. However, recognizing that everyone has different tastes and budgets, we have made it available as a “Design Your Own” CUSTOM Kit, providing you the ability to pick and choose preferences such as accessories and paint schemes. NOTES:

Custom kit designed to fit all softail models (except “Roker” models) from 2000-current if choosing CSC complete Front End option. Kit will fit all FLST Softail models (except “Springer” and 2007 “Fatboy” models) if choosing Volusia Powertrak option. Billet front end will not fit Harley Davidson front ends.

We took the opportunity to re-design our Cobra kit to offer a choice of an enlarged trunk capacity for the existing 2001 to 2010 GL1800’s without sacrificing styling or performance. We believe you will find the COBRA XL hard to distinguish from our current kit at first glance, because it maintains the same elegant soft lines that have made our Cobra kit so popular. What you will discover is a trunk space that is now almost double in size at 8 cu. ft. This larger capacity trunk makes our COBRA XL model one of the largest trunk spaces for any Honda GL1800 trike kit on the market.

Trike bodies are painted using top of the line urethane paints and clears, with a 2-3 part paint process and 3 clear coats. These are the same paints and clears supplied to Honda.
