About California Sidecar

California SideCar was established in 1975 in California, and was purchased in 1985 by the current owner with a vision to expand the product line and grow the company. Soon after, California SideCar expanded into motorcycle cargo trailers with the purchase of the Escapade brand. The Friendship series of Sidecars and the Escapade line of trailers were both re-designed and became the industry sales leaders by the early 1990’s. CSC entered that new market in 1995 with the introduction of the Tour model for Honda Goldwing 1500’s. The new model trike represented the basis for each CSC Trike released since, in that the trikes and trailers are designed to match the OEM motorcycles better than anyone else in the industry. From 3 employees and 4,000 square feet in 1985, today CSC occupies more than 75,000 square feet in Arrington and Madison Heights, Virginia and employs more than 85 people. We remain the industry leader in innovation, styling, and customer service with a network of 225 dealers worldwide and a product line that include 3 trailers, and an array of trikes that will fit 40 different models of motorcycles from 6 different manufacturers – Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Victory, and now Indian.
